I’ve never had them get this mature before. You would know Woody will all the volunteers germinate next year or will they last another year in the soil. ?

We got our first light frost of the season last night. That should slow down the warm season species in our bio strips and clear the way for more sunlight to reach the cool season species.

Too nice of a day to not try something in the field. Trying out the row cleaner in the bio strips. One of the most relaxing jobs on the farm. Will park it for another week or so.

@WheatPete Out soil sampling wheatfields. Not much wonder wheat in the rotation increases yields in subsequent crops look at the root mass.

Could also go the JD route and go with a complete MaxEmerge row unit with electric drive, hydraulic down pressure and wing pressure for $50k more yet. Get all new row units but ends up being a lot of $$ for what payback? Looking for opinions, experience, etc RT appreciated
