Very inspiring visit with @JNFUSA and 40 Israeli architecture firms to Bersheva to tour Be'er Sheva River Park, including site of future World Zionist Village. THIS is a story to follow! Read my @JNS_org article: jns.org/feature/architects-t…

Can SO relate to this from NYC’s Transportation Alternatives: “Even with nearly 3 million free parking spaces, drivers in NYC spend average of 107 hours per year looking for parking. That’s more than two and a half 40-hour workweeks of wasted time per driver per year.” Wow!

As I discovered covering a @JNFUSA event today in Bersheva for @JNS_org: Israel is a world leader in hi tech—and low tech. Note the little handles left in the melons for easy handling!

Always a treat to get caught up with members of the @covenantfn mishpacha—especially when it is someone like Zion Ozeri and it is over coffee in Renana!

It is flattering and gratifying when a reader asks to meet in Tel Aviv to sign copies of your book for him & colleagues & friends. Thanks Nathan Weissler for all that you do to make the world more inclusive & accessible & for sharing useful feedback on the book!

First time seeing a flag like this—in Harish, Israel. It is 1 flag

Went to meat counter at large Harish Supersol grocery store. No one working. In contrast—staff at cheese and deli counter. Hmm. Why? “Chag” they both said. I was confused—then learned today is Eid al-Adha, major Muslim holiday commemorating binding of Ishmael. Still learning

I see a burly @IDF soldier sitting at a crowded Tel Aviv bus depot looking on phone at @NHL playoff highlights of @CanadiensMTL game. I comment about the series. He smiles and tells me he plays for Israel’s National Hockey Team!

Gotta love this country! Note the early hour on the clock—and see how many people are coming from and waiting for flights at @bengurionairpor days before Shavuot. The train to Tel Aviv was running but no buses til 5 am :(

I generally try to avoid buying coffee at the airport (high prices and low quality are two reasons). Who knew that, at this @JFKairport stand, we are also supporting employee retention (love to learn more about how this actually works !)

There has been a lot of criticism of @EL_AL_AIRLINES for such things as high prices during wartime. One thing we can’t criticize? Explosion of music selections on inflight entertainment consoles!

Pretty newsworthy. How do you get hundreds of people to and from Manhattan with a @LIRR strike. Luckily, it is not only possible but quicker and cheaper to take the @MTA subway (6 to E to Air Train!)

Love to see data showing this helps! If so, I recommend this set up be implemented in bathrooms around the world—not only in one New York City day care bathroom!

I only see Bruce Springsteen on torah reading days in New York or Brooklyn after Lag B’Omer & preferably on Yom Yerushalayim! Kidding. Would see him anytime, anywhere. Last night, started in very last row then got a miracle! Friends sitting side row 12 invited me to join!
