"British media vilifies Muslims and immigrants."
The editor-in-chief of Analyst News Atif Rashid says British tabloids and right-wing media platforms are largely to blame for the rise in anti-Muslim sentiment in the country.
A study by the Centre for Media Monitoring in 2025, which analysed 40,000 articles, found that 70% of them portrayed Muslims in a negative light – a result of "deliberate editorial decisions." There was a 43% rise in anti-Muslim incidents between 2023-2024.
What those outlets fail to report is that almost 100,000 Muslims work in the NHS, and Muslims are the most charitable group in the UK, according to a report by Blue State in 2024.
