Semester 4: My life would be sorted if I get an internship at Google. Got Goldman Sachs instead.
Semester 5: My life would be sorted if I become a Master on Codeforces.
Semester 6: My life would be sorted if I scale up TLE Eliminators and my content creation game.
Internship time: My life would be sorted if I get a PPO and an offer from Google later on. Yes I was obsessed with Google. Not anymore though.
Semester 7: My life would be sorted if I get some great full time offer off-campus. I was obsessed with companies like Codenation.
Semester 8: My life would be sorted if I scale up TLE Eliminators.
Guess what... my life will never be sorted. This is known as the Arrival Fallacy. The key to real happiness is appreciating what you have achieved so far and only aspire (not get obsessed) for more.
