I wrote a Figma plugin to help create radial systems for watch design and then made a component library for easy iteration. Final designs get scaled and exported as vector files for printing.

i needed a *nice-looking* qr code for a recent project and wasn't happy with any of the results i found, so i made an app to do it for me and shipped it. this is qewie - make beautiful qr codes (qews?) with a few taps. save or share them wherever you want. live and free on the app store (link below)

Yesterday I built a fun little plugin for blending shapes and colors in @figma. There's a long list of features that I didn't have time to build and a few remaining bugs but I figured it was useful enough to share. Will add a link to the plugin below :)

In my experience, exactly 0% of the organizations that say “we have a custom typeface” turn out to have a custom typeface. For orgs that truly do, it’s self-evident from their communications. As for the rest, what they actually mean by “we have a custom typeface” is: 🧵→

Gibson or the Opal C1?

This is Gibson. He needs you to stop working immediately. All the other dogs are going to the park. 12/10

i’m so tired of abortion rights being framed around truly tragic circumstances like assault and incest. if you get pregnant & you don’t want to be pregnant, it is your right over your own body that is under siege. no one, including a fetus, can use your body against your consent.

Jony Ive on the importance of the handle on the original iMac.
This diagram by @frank_chimero is witheringly succinct. From his excellent essay “Everything Easy is Hard Again,” which bears rereading. hflr.io/JzYpfp

1/2 You don’t really believe the peeing in bottles thing, do you? If that were true, nobody would work for us. The truth is that we have over a million incredible employees around the world who are proud of what they do, and have great wages and health care from day one.

Hi, I don’t like talking about personal stuff here, but in light of anti-Asian violence in my native ATL, I want to share my experience of being assaulted by a group of strangers a block from my NYC apt in 2018, to shed light on how real anti-Asian hate is and always has been.

I dropped of my ballot and voted early in Brooklyn yesterday. No lines, well organized, and the whole process took just a few minutes.
