In other more interesting news, I've been seeing articles popping up about science finally cracking the code behind anti-gravity propulsion. What those article writers should've continued to probe about was how it could conceivably relate to that concept?
I just want to wholly state and reinforce that it's not anti-gravity technology. The lead scientist and patent holder (US Patent#US11511891B2, International Patent Filing#WO2020159603A2), Dr. Charles Buhler, clearly states in his own words that it isn't anti-gravity in the classic sense at all and has even gone so far as to give it its own name, "The Exodus Effect." It more closely resembles Electro-Magnetic features through an electrostatic thruster that exploits pressure differences in divergent fields. In lab tests, it was described as being about the size of a dinner plate, but that larger orbital tests will be planned for future advanced phases of development. However, the result? A net force that moves the entire object’s center of mass without expelling any propellant or reaction mass. That's something conventional physics insists shouldn't happen because it seems to skirt conservation of momentum.
The interesting point of note that
@IanCrossland would be excited to hear about, I'm sure, is that while it isn't a part of the current construction plans or in the patent materials being used in the lab, it does sound like Dr. Charles Raymond Buhler intends to incorporate metamaterials (like graphene!!) to enhance future iterations by sharpening field asymmetries or boosting efficiency, but the specifics still remain speculative and, as mentioned, are unused in current hardware.
Ian! If you happen to check this out, maybe talk to
@Timcast about getting Dr. Buhler on the show? That'd be a super fun conversation I think! 😃 There's so much more that I wanted to say here about it all, but I didn't want to type out a 7000 word thesis on the entire concept (haha, I'm sure you understand). Cheers man!
If anyone happens to be interested in reading a bit more about this topic, here are a few links that I've looked at and I'm sure there's even more since it's hitting the news again in light of the UAP/UFO topic and whatnot:
