Dear NIUK Community,
False allegations have come to our attention, and we will like to state in clear terms that the Nigerians in the UK Community Ltd, as a registered entity, has not received any of the alleged funds at any time since the inception of our community and company as a whole.
We are a legitimate community organisation , registered as a Limited by Guarantee, which was the most suitable structure for our needs at the time of registration. As previously highlighted in our correspondence with the community, we began our process of registering NIUK as a charity in January 2025. Our accounts are audited, and financial reports for 2022/2023 are available on our website (
niukcommunity.com). The next report is due in November 2025 and latest updates will be shared at our upcoming Townhall meeting on 2nd of February 2025. All allegations are false and should be categorically dismissed and disregarded.
The NIUK is taking these matters very seriously and is pursuing legal action. Our legal team is currently being briefed. The community will be kept informed of our progress as we move forward.
As a responsible organisation, we have no association with fraud. It is important to clarify that we do not issue certificates of sponsorship, as our status as a Limited by Guarantee company does not permit to issue such documents.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
NIUK Executives
