I make telly. Exec producer of Death in Paradise and Sanditon. And Beyond Paradise. Not the brilliant comedy poet man from Alan Partridge. He is someone else.
It's almost time to return to Saint Marie!
#DeathInParadise starts 9pm Friday 30 January on BBC One and iPlayer. We'll be welcoming back Don Gilet, Don Warrington, Shantol Jackson, Shaquille Ali-Yebuah and Élizabeth Bourgine... and Catherine Garton as Sergeant Mattie Fletcher.
Dani was a joy to work with and such great fun. Truly altruistic, passionate about the work she did and the people she did it with. And she lit up a room when she walked into it. Such a sad loss for the industry but more so of course for her family & friends.Thinking of them all.
We were devastated to learn of the passing of our friend and colleague Danielle Scott-Haughton.
Dani was the BBC Commissioning Editor for Death in Paradise and Beyond Paradise and was a passionate champion of every programme she worked on.

I am incredibly sad to hear this news. I met Ed briefly a few times through Bellowhead’s collaboration with #beyondparadise (including this year’s Xmas ep) and he was a lovely, fun and clearly hugely talented man. Sending love and best wishes to the band & his friends and family.
Those who came along to the 2024 Bellowhead tour will remember our wonderful helicon player and dear friend Ed Neuhauser taking centre stage for the introduction to Fire Marengo.
What you wouldn't have realised is that Ed was diagnosed with a brain tumour 12 months previously.
Two Post Office things I had a hand in (the doc series on R4 and the drama on ITV) are up for Radio Times awards. Both production teams (and hopefully some Subpostmasters) would be delighted if you could attempt to influence the results by voting:

3. Anyway, my thoughts are with her friends and family. I'm glad I got to know her a little and spend a bit of time with her. She was one of a kind.

2. And she was a great actor too, brave and unashamedly herself. I went for dinner once with her and Lynda Bellingham and it was glorious. I knew at the time I was privileged to be hanging out with both of them.
1. Very sad indeed to hear of the death of Roberta Taylor. It was a real privilege to work with her on The Bill. She was the real deal - a fierce and strong personality, but with a kindness and joy for life that made spending time with her an absolute blast.
Obsessed with that Devil on the Rocks animation! We commissioned animation student Imtithal Rafi from Arts University Plymouth to put that together, and absolutely love what she did with it. 😈 #BeyondParadise
