Next Wed, where I live, #Tenet will screen 83 times.
Can't wait to see it,am thrilled that cinemas are opening again, know they desperately need income, but 83 times in 1 place on 1 day?
If they showed it 50 times, would fewer people go?
Would give 33 slots for other films.

Does the theatre world really need more A-listers filming monologues on their iPhones? Seems like a good time to give some opportunities to recent grads - the ones who are really gonna struggle in wake of things being fucked.

The UK Gov will only help English Uni courses of "societal importance,such as Stem,nursing teaching."
We need people to study history,literature,film,theatre,language,etc,too.

Some people say that watching a movie at home, comfort of your own sofa, is almost as good as the movies.
I respect that, but I'm myself at home.
Going to the pictures makes me not myself, makes me bigger than life - more agog, receptive, happy, vulnerable.
I'm craving that.
