Come on over... the sky is great!

As President, I would read 10 letters a day sent to me by ordinary Americans. At the Obama Presidential Center, we’ll have some of the letters I read — and responded to — every night. I still get emotional reading them, and it’s one of my favorite exhibits.

Violence has no place in America. Michelle and I are praying for the servicemembers shot in Washington, DC today, and send our love to their families as they enter this holiday season under the most tragic of circumstances.

Physician here. ER wait times are a systemic issue that has NOTHING to do with illegal aliens. Illness complexity is up, preventative care is down (eg vaccinations, etc), and you just passed a bill guaranteeing smaller rural hospitals close which will increase all of that.

You get more and more disappointing by the day with your blatant lies. And you know better. DEMs don't control the House or the Senate. Republicans control BOTH. You ALSO know that undocumented immigrants cannot qualify for healthcare. That's fear mongering. Come on, man.

Over the long term, we shouldn’t have political gerrymandering in America, just a fair fight between Republicans and Democrats based on who’s got better ideas. But since Texas is taking direction from a partisan White House and gerrymandering in the middle of a decade to try and maintain the House despite their unpopular policies, I have tremendous respect for how Governor Newsom has approached this. He’s put forward a smart, measured approach in California, designed to address a very particular problem at a very particular moment in time.

Yep. You screwed up. Elections have consequences. But even worse is you screwed all voters who knew better than to vote for trump.

If only there was some kind of government agency assigned to monitor and give advance warning. Something like a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. That would be a great agency to fund well and never gut it's funding to give early warning to save lives in these situations.

Independence Day is a reminder that America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We The People.’ ‘We Shall Overcome.’ ‘Yes We Can.’ America is owned by no one. It belongs to all citizens. And at this moment in history—when core democratic principles seem to be continuously under attack, when too many people around the world have become cynical and disengaged—now is precisely the time to ask ourselves tough questions about how we can build our democracies and make them work in meaningful and practical ways for ordinary people.

It is 100% trump's fault for the flash flood tragedy in Texas! I am afraid this is only the beginning. More tragedy will happen due to trump's weather forecasting cuts! People in the business of forecasting have been saying the cuts will result in dead Americans! Here we are.
