Here’s the class of our 2023 Summer School with (most of) the IFSTAL team. Thanks again to our sponsors @ifstnews and @WarwickFoodGRP for supporting this event that builds tomorrow’s changemakers in the food system #IFSTALSS23
Our teams tackled water resilience in the food system, the rise of ultra processed foods, lowering salt in foods, the supply of sustainable, local fish and supply chain impacts of 100% pasture-fed beef and sheep. Well done to all our teams. #IFSTALSS23 2/2
An interesting session on dealing with conflict in teams led by @LouWhatford and Niko Dadios, both from @RoyalVetCollege They challenged participants to role play stakeholders with different takes on a (fictitious) farming subsidy scheme.
Thank you to @IFSTnews and @WarwickFoodGRP for their sponsorship of the summer school. Here's a cheering picture of Park House, where we're based for the next couple of days @uniofreading#IFSTALSS23
“We need to create great teams to deal with the world’s biggest challenges” says @rosinaborrelli at the start of the Team Skills masterclass. Who knew completing a jigsaw required negotiation?
Day 1 of #IFSTALSS23 is off to a good start. @SaherHasnain challenged us to think about which food we'd allow to disappear if we had to: cashew nut, banana, watermelon or avocado 🤔
Our annual workplace day is in full swing! Our signature round tables with fantastic speakers and IFSTAL alumni who are all doing amazing transformational work
