Ilen anchored off Mac Mahon castle, Collage Bay, Carrigaholt. The bay is named after O’ Curry College, established 1912 & named in honour of local man - renowned Irish scholar, Eugene O’ Curry. The college was founded by Limerick’s Neilí O’ Brian sister of Conor - Ilen’s designer
