America Looks Pretty Good from the Open Road Just wrapped up a 5,000 mile father-son road trip with Ben to empty out his UCSB storage unit and begin the next chapter. Along the way we visited Rocky Mountain, Arches, Great Basin, and Yellowstone National Parks, crossed the Mojave Desert, drove through the Big Horn Mountains and Black Hills, visited the historic Imes Covered Bridge in Iowa, and stayed at a nonprofit animal sanctuary along the Colorado River. The scenery was incredible, but the best part was the uninterrupted time together.
