Question for Min for LG @meaghan_scanlon: QLD LG elections are looming, and any female candidates nominating, why on earth has @QldGov not updated antiquated laws on authorisations requiring them to disclose their addresses? Why should women seek 3rd parties to ensure safety?

I’ve spoken to several indy female candidates on gc and it’s a hurdle to find someone else to cover them and bear that risk. It’s not fair to assume they can easily put another address in as that compromises them too, esp if non disclosing. Shifting target
