Under the visionary guidance and sustained efforts of Smt. Meenakshi Singh, President,
#VaamaSaarthi, the organisation is taking significant steps to bring quality education, teacher training and skill development for the children of police families onto a common platform.
In continuation of this initiative, the Uttar Pradesh Police Family Welfare Education Committee, in collaboration with the Azim Premji Foundation, inaugurated a 04-day training workshop for teachers of Police Modern Schools from 01 June 2026 at Reserve Police Lines, Lucknow.
A total of 67 teachers from 07 districts, 11 PAC battalions and Police Academy Moradabad are participating in the workshop. The programme aims to enhance the quality of teaching in Police Modern Schools, promote innovative pedagogical practices, encourage the holistic development of students and further strengthen an effective, uniform and future-ready educational ecosystem.
The programme was held in the gracious presence of Smt. Shweta Sengar, Chairperson, Education Committee, Vaama Saarthi, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Charu Gaba, Secretary, Vaama Saarthi, along with members Smt. Niharika Singh, Smt. Manini Srivastava and Smt. Veena Singh, were also present on the occasion.
From the Azim Premji Foundation, trainers Smt. Ronita Sharma, Shri Nandan Kumar, Smt. Reshma Krishnan and Smt. Anupama conducted the training sessions.
This initiative reflects Vaama Saarthi’s meaningful efforts to bring institutional collaboration and professional expertise onto one platform for quality education, skill-building, expanded opportunities and a brighter future for the children of police families.
