"I wouldn't say I envy, that's a bad word, but I want my country to have success like Georgia's." Serbia's president said this in Tbilisi today. The EU sees a crisis in Georgia. A European leader sees a model. Someone isn't looking straight.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić🇷🇸 in Tbilisi today. Accompanied by his wife and a state delegation. First ever visit by a Serbian head of state to Georgia🇬🇪 Two Orthodox nations. Closer than most maps suggest.

Ilia Topuria lost his first fight tonight. Gaethje was better. Simple as that. But Georgia still has two of the best fighters on the planet. The story isn't over.

The wait is finally over as the World Cup begins tonight. As always, I fully support France 🇫🇷. I will also be rooting for Neymar 🇧🇷, who is my absolute football idol. As a wild card, I am supporting Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 too. My friends refuse to believe they have a strong team, so I am looking forward to them proving the skeptics wrong 😉

Georgia and China just elevated their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Three years ago, we signed a Strategic Partnership with China. Since then, visa-free travel, direct flights, growing trade, high-level visits. So we upgraded. That's how functional diplomacy works. Meanwhile, the EU spent those same three years producing resolutions. Suspending accession. Threatening visa liberalization. Debating whether Georgia deserves a place at the table. China just showed up.

Pashinyan just stated that he is "interested in reconciling Georgia with the EU and the US." Clearly, the old inertia of Western PR has led him to believe he is a major player in regional geopolitics. A man who has "fixed everything" at home and can’t even control his own borders has now decided to play mediator for a sovereign neighbor. When the West artificially hypes you up as a "beacon of democracy," you easily lose touch with reality. Someone should remind him that this empty rhetoric only works for Washington and Brussels reports; in realpolitik, his word carries zero weight.

Tomorrow is election day in Armenia 🇦🇲 and watching their political scene makes it impossible not to draw parallels with Georgia 🇬🇪. Honestly they are walking the exact same path we did and are at least 15 years behind us. Let’s look back at our own recent history. Under Saakashvili’s regime, chasing the illusion of EU integration and a "better life," they basically wrote off our lost territories. They literally called our lands "piles of stones" just to keep their Western dreams alive. We were promised the EU was the ultimate cure. 🇪🇺 But the reality was completely different. We got endless empty promises and a total loss of sovereignty. Our laws were blindly tailored to EU demands and the NGO sector basically hijacked the governance of the country. It created an illusion of independence where Georgians couldn't even make decisions in their own homeland. This process continues today. We still face constant external blackmail and multiple coup attempts against a democratically elected government just because we want to pursue an independent policy. Now Armenia is diving headfirst into these exact same illusions. It is sad to see them repeating our bitter mistakes and walking this painful road to the very end instead of learning from our experience.

1/ EU growth: 0.9%. Georgia growth: 9.5%. 🇩🇪AfD MEP Tomasz Frölich just asked Brussels why the underperformer is lecturing the overperformer on values.

3/ He also said Georgians want to protect Christian and traditional values — and Brussels is punishing them for it. Make it make sense.

4/ "Georgia must not become another Ukraine." Tomasz Frölich said what half of Europe is thinking but won't say out loud.

Germany's Foreign Ministry website still lists Georgia's old president and foreign minister. Georgia sent 3 official diplomatic notes asking them to fix it. Still waiting. Russia's page was updated in March. No delays there. The German Ambassador blames a website redesign. I'm a developer. I'll fix it in 10 minutes. Free of charge🙌🏻

Nobody talks about second largest cities. But they tell you everything — the real economy, the real priorities, the real direction. South Caucasus: 🇦🇲 Gyumri. 🇬🇪 Batumi. 🇦🇿 Sumqayit.

Romanovs had it in Moscow. Soviet Union took it. Stalin expanded the collection with Georgian varieties, then quietly moved the whole vault to Tbilisi to keep it safe. Every single empire that ever touched this wine collapsed. Bid accordingly.

Moldova just gave their highest honor to Georgia's "president." Georgia hasn't had a president named Salome since December 2024. Sandu is handing out medals while her own citizens are fighting to keep Moldova from becoming Romania. Solidarity, apparently.

Georgia's radical opposition picked the perfect day to prove they're a force. May 26. Independence Day. Free crowds. Free cameras. Free attention. They announced this rally 3 months ago. Regional tours. A united front. All resources in. The streets were packed for the holiday. Then the opposition took the stage, and the crowd thinned out. I don't vote for them. But weak opposition means no accountability. That's everyone's problem. Thread. Live updates🧵

A wedding. At a political rally. If you know Georgian protest culture, you've seen this before. Many times. The Maidan playbook, imported, recycled, and now cringe.

Two videos. Same rally. Same moment. First: drone footage showing the real turnout. Second: how opposition-friendly media framed it for their audience.

This is Tengo Tevzadze. One of today's rally's main organizers. Frustrated by the low turnout, he physically struck a person in the crowd. On live stream. The man who spent 3 months calling people to the streets just assaulted one of them.
