No major public blockers announced, but coordination (signature ceremonies, community input on constitution, validator onboarding) adds complexity. Team is actively pushing: recent activity includes new issues/PRs in the last 1-2 weeks. Community can help by reviewing open PRs, testing on current testnets, or joining discussions. The upgrade includes core infrastructure migration to AWS (for improved reliability, performance & geo-distribution) and the Fusaka upgrade (story-geth v1.2.0). 🚨 BREAKING: New emissions rates are now live starting at round 78,840. This marks the first “double-halving”: • Max issuance per mining round reduced by 50%. • Super Validator share reduced from 48% → 20%. • More rewards flow to Validators Applications driving network usage. Together, these changes move Canton toward lower long-run inflation and more utility-aligned incentives.
