I'm still so fascinated to this day that the games responsible for having the most gorgeous music you'll ever hear are sung in a made up/fake language that sounds like a real language
As some of you may know, I play guitar and it's one of my favorite ways of connecting with my inner self. This is kind of a first for me on here, but here's me playing and singing Nutshell by Alice in Chains. It's been one of the most meaningful songs for me this year :)
Moving to Sonic, Sora, Ridley, and Chrom: One trend begins here - attendance made a big impact over character scores, hence KEN in a narrow lead in Sonic's points despite Sonix's higher player rank. Kameme retains an enormous lead with Sora.
Belated Crown 3 tweet, but I ended up getting 25/421. Not too bad for an S-tier event 🔥
Somehow ended up being tied for the highest Utah placing 🫡 That said, I've had no fire for competing for a while now so gotta re-evaluate singles in general... Dubs is still raw tho 😩
Just got the first half of our merch run delivered, getting the rest tomorrow. A couple of the same designs from last year, and another new one tomorrow. Stoked
I'm not crazy for being disappointed with the narrative in TotK, right? The whole "mystery" of what happened to Zelda/where/what she is obvious from almost the beginning and then the main plot itself feels very shallow and lacks connection with BotW, let alone the series itself
The trailers made it seem like it would be something more interesting than what we got. And the fact that you can accidentally spoil the central mystery due to the non-linear nature of the storytelling kind of ruins things further. The rest of the game itself is at least fun?
Maybe a cringe tweet, but this week, I won a local with all of the Utah PR there over Scend/Kreeg/Sticccy with pretty much all Pit, and then another local over Kreeg with all Pit. Probably a sign to put more time into the character and co-main him with Sonic? Low-key down :)
