What Ravid'srecent report reveals is that Cabinet members, in addition to the pre-war doubter Vance, are registering their disagreements with Trump's ( and Mutt & Jeff, Kushner and Witkoff). Moreover and far more notable, they're now leaking it. It reflects a view that they want careers post-Trump. Rest assured the same applies to many Rs in Congress. Mark it down, it represents a turning point.

Maybe Trump should get credit, not for the decision to attack Iran in February (that clearly was a strategic disaster), but rather to fold his cards. Tremendous damage to US prestige and reputation with "allies" in the ME, but he is/has decided to cut bait and run thereby not adding to the harm.

Last night someone in the Administration shared the MOU with me. Unfortunately I can't share many details, suffice to say it is as advertised, a GREAT DEAL I share it next Tuesday.

זו לא רק ההישענות על טראמפ. המדיניות שנתניהו הוביל בכניסה למלחמה היתה שגויה לחלוטין. במקום לטפל באורניום המועשר שהוא הסכנה הגדולה לישראל, נתניהו עסק בפנטזיות על הפלת משטר. התוצאה - נשאר המשטר ונשאר האורניום

I believe many people still do not realize that we are in the midst of a new global power struggle over the future. The fact that China’s access to Claude alone is viewed as an immense risk to national security (!) demonstrates the kind of weapons these models represent. The race for the best AI is not (merely) about conducting better science or accelerating drug research; it is about the fact that cyber warfare has reached a level where there is a legitimate concern that an entire nation could be put at risk. Interestingly, the blog AI2027 correctly predicted all of this many months ago. So, anyone wanting to understand why this is so significant - and why it goes far beyond "merely" having the most intelligent model - should read that blog again.
