The @NYTGames crossword is oddly fond of the word IRA.

Is it weird that my eyes flinch whenever I see pictures of the #SolarEclipse ?

Twitter feed on a good day needs a solid mental BS filter. Today, though, is unbearable. #AprilFoolsDay2024

Just switched jeans brands. There’s something liberating about not showing the world your inseam size on the outside of your waistband!

Mind-blowing #SpaceX launch with amazing, emotional views. What is almost as incredible is knowing that in the not-too-distant future, this will be a common occurrence and no big deal!

The 2 worst site on the internet by far: discussions.apple.com and answers.microsoft.com. Seeing those in a search results list brings on that sinking feeling that you'll never find the answer to your problem.

Tried to go to bed at 9 last night saying that my body thought it was an hour later. Apparently, my logic was faulty #SpringForward

Taking a walk down memory lane as my daughter reads all my old tweets out loud. Reliving the startup days and wallowing in nostalgia! Lots of FourSquare mayorships too.

The AI landscape feels a lot like the proliferation of streaming channels. Need an image? Pay Midjourney. Need text, try OpenAI. Whoever successfully bundles the various offerings into a single offering will win the hearts of devs and users.

So keeping a #gratitudejournal sounds like a nice concept but what you might not realize is that it also creates a self-fulfilling positivity loop! You start out simply looking for positivity in your life to log.

But somewhere along the way, you find yourself making choices that challenge you to step outside your comfort zone just so that choice can be logged. Gamification of gratitude!

To get a sense for how quickly time passes, realize that the #thedress controversy was *8 years ago*! 8 years! (It was gold and white)

So ChatGPT was cool. Mind-blowing technology, beautifully packaged and accessible. Bing AI has taken this toddler-like creation and grown into an angsty, paranoid, aggressive teenager. Some of these are hilarious. Some are just weird. All are terrifying! x.com/search?q=bing chat&f…

One thing I don’t see mentioned enough is how good ChatGPT is at understanding our questions. It makes Siri, Google Home, Alexa, et al look ancient before we even consider the quality of the answers!

Super offended that Xbox 360 controllers cannot be used with Xbox One. I find it difficult to believe that the the tech is that different between the two; I guess MS needs to support that stock price somehow!

Why did @Outlook decide not to respect the built-in MacOS "Do Not Disturb" feature? The Mac version of this program is inferior to even the web experience in so many ways, it's embarrassing.

Very surprised how bad my new, highly-rated @logitech mouse is. It was the top recommendation from @wirecutter but the pointer keeps jumping around on both the universal receiver and bluetooth on multiple surfaces. Back to my ancient (but serviceable) 12 year old mouse!
