Social touch has been largely taken from our lives due to Covid19 unfortunately. I am thus very happy to share our new paper on the underlying neurophysiology of hugs and kisses in romantic partners published in @SciReports together with @BerretzGesa, @RookNoemi and @ocklenBLOG.

Our results are indicative that changes in asymmetry are best understood from a transdiagnostic and symptom-focused perspective and highlight the need for future experimental approaches to achieve definitive causal insight into these highlighted mechanisms. 10/x
