The US Government just moved another $350K of funds originally seized from Alameda Research/FTX accounts on Binance, approximately 3 years ago.
These funds will likely be used to compensate affected creditors in the FTX case.

There are many good X articles lately, some superb, intellectual, and honest.
They are 1000x better than opinion columns in newspapers. I noticed my chat group has more X article links than links from MSM.
In the era of agentic AI, speed in reacting to truthful information is everything, or gradient descent can quickly go in another direction.
A rare sign of enlightenment.
"There is no protocol to verify whether an AI agent is acting on behalf of a real person."
As bots become the majority of internet traffic, that problem becomes harder to ignore.

Citi just published their Tokenization 2030 report.
Key takeaways:
- $17B today, $5.5T by 2030 (base case). Bull case $8T - Five asset classes drive the call: public equities, US treasuries, private credit, private equity and real estate funds.
- Stablecoins hitting $1.9T is what makes it all work.
- DTCC, NYSE and Nasdaq are now in production, not pilots.
- Their bigger call: value goes to whoever vertically integrates issuance, distribution and settlement. They call them "structural orchestrators."

Very inspiring words from Elon Musk today:
"I always think about this. There are always problems on earth. There’s always things that we wish to be better, that we want to solve on Earth, and we should solve them. But there there also has to be things that get you excited about the future — that make you glad to wake up in the morning, because you can’t wait to see what happens next.
That’s the future @SpaceX wants to bring to you."

JUST IN: Japan's parliament has advanced a bill that would reclassify crypto as a financial product, cutting the maximum tax rate from 55% to a flat 20% and introducing insider trading rules for the first time.
People still think (or feel) because Bitcoin is down crypto is down.
Derivatives/perps, stablecoins, prediction markets, etc are all up in crypto.
Crypto touches every area of finance, and is much broader than Bitcoin now. It will take some time for this to sink in.
(And yes - Bitcoin is going to do great and is as important as ever - one of many cycles we've all been through.)

Elon: "The AI satellite is much simpler than a Starlink satellite. The AI satellite is essentially a lot of solar cells, you still need some laser links, but you don't have all of the super complex antennas that you have on a Starlink satellite. The easier one to design for is the AI satellite. It's bigger. A lot of this is technology we've already made with the Starlink V3 satellites."
