If schools open at half capacity in the fall (very likely) that means there will be 900,000 children in NYC each day who need a place to be. We need to start thinking super boldly and creatively about new spaces for care and learning.

I had three separate conversations TODAY with founders from underestimated communities who I deeply respect, who have gone on to build successful companies, but who were given extremely unfavorable terms in their early raises. It so sad to hear!

There are two critical childcare bills on @GovKathyHochul's desk. One reduces the burden of reapplying to benefits year after year, which would reduce massive amounts of paperwork for 81% of families in the system and save taxpayer money. A no brainer! #NYSUniversalChildCare
