FFG absolutely slaying it again, making it so easy (read: free) to support OP at their store at a base level! Plus all the alt art stuff is slick. It’s almost time!!!
Games and decisions in games are complex but the way you think about decision spaces doesn't have to be. Here's a 🧵that will challenge the way you think about #boardgames.
As a huge #keyforge fan & former @sanctumonius podcaster, this is my take im giving everywhere.
I'm not interested in playing Archon Alliance, but I LOVE sealed Alliance. Most of all, Im excited to have KeyForge in the hands of an invested team willing to try out new things.
You asked for it. Here it is! Details on our vision of Organized Play for KeyForge competitive tournaments can be found by going here. So GO NOW!

For @GhostGalaxyGam1, my constructed feedback would be, as you continue to explore formats for this incredible game, I'd encourage you to think about ways to pare down deck power level rather than ramp it up.
For me, the most fun games of KeyForge are played with middle of the bell curve decks, rather than outliers. There have been lots of community originated formats to achieve this that I'd recommend looking into. Happy to point y'all in the right direction.
While y'all were at gen con, I was doing my mega dexterity game thing. 6-0 in kickball games and 6 down in disc golf (on an easy course but whatever)! What a great gaming weekend!

In #boardgames, size of a game’s decision space ≠ dept
What makes a decision space ‘large’ or ‘small’? What is a ‘deep’ game? Do deep games have a distinguishing characteristic?
This week’s episode tackles these questions and more!
