Life comes at you fast.
An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training. In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table. The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. The final remains scheduled for Saturday 23 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed. 📘 efl.com/news/2026/may/19/efl…

Get some perspective: Back in 1979–80, Arsenal played 70 games and won absolutely nothing. Brian Talbot played every single game. Won nothing. Alan Sunderland scored 29 goals. Won nothing. The defence conceded only 36 goals in the league and only 3 in 9 European games. They even kept a clean sheet against a peak Juventus side in Italy! Won nothing. We lost the FA Cup final to West Ham on a Saturday and the European CWC final on penalties to Valencia the following Wednesday. No one stopped supporting. No one abused the team. We came back year after year and backed the team. We won nothing for 8 years. Still we kept showing up. If you’re a fan, start acting like one.

I had the pleasure of watching Jake bowl close up in the summer at Goodwood. Incredible talent.
Incredible, Jake. 👏 Sussex spinner Jake Vosloo made history today when he became the youngest every disability cricketer to represent England. 16-year old Jake debuted in a seven-wicket defeat to India, the first of a five-game IT20 series. Sussex's Alfie Pyle also represented, taking two of the three Indian wickets, with Brighton-based Liam O'Brien also featuring and scoring a superb 55 (41). 👊

Exactly this. No team deserves to win when they are gifted a penalty and do nothing offensive in the second half. oh and they were at home 😂
Annoyed about the result but not the performance. Very much deserved a point away at a really good side, we got varianced, it happens. That’s not to say it was perfect but the idea you have to be perfect to deserve a draw is silly. Inter were not perfect either.
