The downside to pampering my wrists and using a non-Apple keyboard was losing Touch ID, which got annoying real fast. The solution was getting stand-alone Touch ID module, that was recycled from a Apple keyboard. Found it on Etsy for ~$100, but totally worth it.
I have finally found the perfect keyboard for Mac IMO Kinesis mWave is ergonomic, yet compact-ish. Keys are not soft or silent, yet they are not insanely loud and don't have long travel. Been using it for the last month and it really is 🤌

I find myself using Grok more and more, at this point its in my daily routine along with Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity. The one friction point is the lack of a desktop app. Really miss the system wide hotkeys to trigger a chat along with not being stuck in browser. @nikitabier any hope/chance for this in the future?

Agency > Intelligence I had this intuitively wrong for decades, I think due to a pervasive cultural veneration of intelligence, various entertainment/media, obsession with IQ etc. Agency is significantly more powerful and significantly more scarce. Are you hiring for agency? Are we educating for agency? Are you acting as if you had 10X agency? Grok explanation is ~close: ā€œAgency, as a personality trait, refers to an individual's capacity to take initiative, make decisions, and exert control over their actions and environment. It’s about being proactive rather than reactive—someone with high agency doesn’t just let life happen to them; they shape it. Think of it as a blend of self-efficacy, determination, and a sense of ownership over one’s path. People with strong agency tend to set goals and pursue them with confidence, even in the face of obstacles. They’re the type to say, ā€œI’ll figure it out,ā€ and then actually do it. On the flip side, someone low in agency might feel more like a passenger in their own life, waiting for external forces—like luck, other people, or circumstances—to dictate what happens next. It’s not quite the same as assertiveness or ambition, though it can overlap. Agency is quieter, more internal—it’s the belief that you *can* act, paired with the will to follow through. Psychologists often tie it to concepts like locus of control: high-agency folks lean toward an internal locus, feeling they steer their fate, while low-agency folks might lean external, seeing life as something that happens *to* them.ā€

There will be 2 types of companies in the future. Those that are great at AI, and those that used to be in business

Today I learned, in vibe coding, that creating an interactive map of the United States - for reasons I'm not quite sure - seems nearly impossible for AI/agents. I blew through my Claude quota almost instantly. Switched to Replit, which is on it's 13th attempt to fix the problems with nothing to show for it. Manus and ChatGPT 5 Pro Agent are working on their own attempts, though at this point I am not optimistic 🤣 I thought I was going to swoop in and save the day, vibe coding a quick fun interactive game for my daughter to help her learn US states and capitals, but alas...

Some credit where it is due - perhaps partial credit? ChatGPT 5 Pro Agent did create a basic (emphasis on basic compared to other attempts) game with an interactive map that ACTUALLY displays. But it asks the player to find/click on a state... while showing all the state names on the map. When asked to you know remove the state names, it broke the game šŸ˜†

Providing update for anyone following along! Replit had the most impressive and polished game, despite the broken map (like all other AI/agents), so I've been working to figure out how to correct it. Talking to Claude, it recommended a specific prompt to provide to Replit, which changed the maps to be powered by D3. I did that, but couldn't get the map to load after repeated attempts to debug with Replit. I went back to Claude and it gave me another suggestion (and packaged prompt) to use Highcharts. I'm working through some minor bugs with Replit, but things appear to be promising and I have a semi-working map - closer than I've ever been!

Really excited about our latest WPForms feature: Entry Automation šŸ”„ Exporting (and deleting) your form entries can now be entirely automated. Maybe you want all your recent Customer NPS entries to sent to your email (or Dropbox, Google Drive, SFTP) every Sunday at midnight, for your review the following day. We got you covered. Set it and forget it. Stupid simple, of course. šŸ˜Ž

Power users can really go wild šŸ’Ŗ Since entries can automatically be sent to Google Drive or Dropbox, you could easily extend that even further with an automation tool like n8n, Zapier, or Make. You could export your customer feedback weekly to Dropbox, then have AI analyze the feedback, compare it to prior weeks, identify concerning issues being flagged....then send a summary to your email that arrives to your inbox every Monday while you drink your coffee ā˜•

I can't wait to see what our customers will come up with. If you have any creative or interesting ideas, definitely would love to hear more. Here's the full announcement. Many other big things in the works for 2025! wpforms.com/announcing-entry…

Looks like the (refreshed) WordPress P2 that hit the scene in 2020 never made it self-hosted. The original P2 theme has been pulled, I'm sure it stopped working some time ago. Has anyone seen or done anything similar?
