I honestly can't believe the kind of rubbish newspapers the British are reading. Let's look at this article from the daily Telegraph, wrongfully claiming electric vehicles cause more pothole damage, as a case in point. (I research electric vehicles at the @TUeindhoven.)

FYI @AukeHoekstra and the others. University of Leeds has nothing to do with the Telegraph pothole article which claims that EVs are more than two times damaging for the road than ICE vehicles. They have requested a correction for the article.
