@British_Airways I haven’t even raised the issue on the hotel you put my family in, 1 a 3yr old, on the forced layover. The hotel stank of drugs and smoke, this can be seen on trip advisor comments before we even traveled. One bed for all of us, damp and wallpaper falling off.

@British_Airways appreciate there was disruption yesterday but the level of service we have received has been appalling. All flights started taking off but aware our plane was ready, get to Philadelphia and have been given the grimmest hotel, flight not out to 5pm tonight!

@British_Airways by the time we get to the resort we will have been delayed 24hrs. Trying to call you call centre you either get cut off or you have closed the lines because you are busy. No information, no support and then this hotel is a shambles. Ruined our holiday.

1. So my first job as a freelancer has been interesting. The client has limited content and poor quality images including logo, disjointed ideas for the website and layout. Spent a lot of time coming up with an alternative to showing the benefits.

2. No feedback on the extra piece I worked on, just wants it to match something seen on WordPress. Was I right to come up with the alternative or should you always do what the customer asks, even though they have stated they want help?

Sent my first piece of work off to a customer as a freelancer. It's taken me a number of years to get to this point, late nights, false starts, mistakes. I can look back without now and not have any regrets. If I can then so can you.

Finishing off the first of my portfolio projects. Pinterest replica, #MongoDB backend, #GraphQL for the API and #vuejs for the frontend. User signup/sign-in with password hashed using bcrypt.

I find when I get stuck on something it’s all I can think about, I focus in on this issue for hours at time....then I remember I’m looking at UAT and not prod!
