Many of our wonderful chaplaincies in Paris are working hard to meet the needs of visitors during the Olympics. St Michael's is very close to the Concorde and are out each day distributing flyers and open between 3 and 5 to welcome people.

In Holy Week, clergy from across our diocese gathered at Chrism Eucharists at Brussels, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Nice and Bern. At these services, Bishops bless the oils used for baptism, confirmation & anointing the sick, & all ordained ministers renew their vows.

Some uk clergy/ lay leaders are unhappy about Easter eggs before the Christmas season has even ended. No Easter eggs in Paris: bakeries & supermarkets with Galette des rois for Epiphany! If Churches want Epiphany celebrated in the uk, perhaps we might adopt this tradition?

Wonderful services (and choir dress!) at Saint Michael’s today. 9.30 trad, 10.45 all age nativity and afternoon & evening of Tamil worship, dancing & hospitality. Included welcome and signing for the mute and deaf community.
