Policy debate aside, fungible is one of the best words. Always remember: biologically and culinarily, fungi are not fungible.
All money is fungible. If Indianapolis City-County Councilors believed they needed to raise the wheel tax to get state matching funds for the roads, then they should have lowered taxes elsewhere, too. The city is funding a lot of things it shouldn't. It shouldn't need to raise taxes to provide one of the most basic/essential services.

I would want anonymity too if I uttered the word frame-mogging.
Scoop: Newsom and Rubio are set to share box seats at the USMNT World Cup match tomorrow. “The Governor is there to support Team USA. Any frame-mogging that occurs will be purely incidental,” said an official familiar with the governor’s plans who was granted anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on his behalf on the matter. finally got that Red Panda contract. Worth every penny, IMO:

I’m rooting for the Knicks to win one while the Pacers aren’t in the playoffs, but I’m quite enjoying watching them lose at the Garden.

Should’ve went diving in Nineveh like he was told.
First trailer for Brian Duffield's ‘WHALEFALL’. The film follows a scuba diver who gets swallowed by a sperm whale and only has limited time to escape. In theaters on October 16.

Opinion: A majority of Purdue's freshman class is from out of state. That's making college more expensive for the Hoosiers it's supposed to serve. indystar.com/story/opinion/c…

The amount of space between the podium and the crowd is no bueno.
.@BeauBayh makes his case to hundreds of @INDems delegates as to why he should be the Democratic nominee for Indiana Secretary of State: “…We will win because Hoosiers are demanding change—because Hoosiers are ready for something different, something better. We are ready for honesty. We are ready for accountability…” Bayh faces Blythe Potter for the nomination. We’ll have a recap of tonight’s vote coming up tonight on @FOX59 & @CBS4Indy.

Today, I proclaimed June as Nuclear Family Month in Indiana. As a father of four and grandfather of seven, I have seen firsthand the impact that loving, committed families can have across multiple generations. As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, this proclamation recognizes the important role families play in shaping the future of our state and our country. Indiana will continue supporting policies that strengthen families and help the next generation thrive.

“My team lost so the rules are bad”. An age-old reaction still rearing its head in both sports and politics.
Out of all the (stupid) playoff systems around, NCAA baseball is *by far* the dumbest.

We need to talk about the word toiletries. It’s unnecessarily long and weird, and I don’t even use any toiletries while on the toilet. Let’s call them sinkies or bathies and be done with it.

I’ve always suspected the four minutes of “can I have the definition/language of origin/use it in a sentence” questions were unnecessary.
Shrey spelling 32 words in 90 seconds to win the Spelling Bee is the new greatest athletic accomplishment of 2026. I don’t even know how he said the letters that fast. Got a “Holy Mackerel” out of @minakimes

Have you ever seen this many people at a zoning meeting?
🚨 What a crowd. Over 1000 people in Fort Wayne, Indiana organized in defiance of the proposed massive Rock Quarry project by U.S. Aggregates. The 524 acre quarry will also accompany an asphalt and concrete plant. The resistance consists of the Lutheran Health CEO, local business owners, and the many residents who reside nearby. The proposed quarry is located between Lutheran and the new IU hospital just West of I69. Many high end subdivisions and homes are nearby.

There are many reasons I could never be a libertarian, but their insistence on using "We, The People" as an object in sentences is among them.
