Jay was one of a kind and a force in all he did.
He held fast to Jim Elliot’s words: “Wherever you are, be all there! Live to the hilt every situstion you believe to be the will of God.”

11:45 AM Update - The SPC is now saying hail could be as large as 2.50”! That’s the size of a tennis ball! Areas in the yellow dashed region below have the highest likelihood of seeing this large hail. This includes the city of #Lubbock. #TXwx#Severe#NMwx
Last guy in the room who’s sympathetic to Baylor, but this non-call was trash.
Utah is going to become the new tea-sipping entitled brats of the Big 12 after UT, mark my words.
We have been commissioned to illustrate a book for the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center’s Veterans division and the great work they do to to help vets in order to teach kids about the basics of the US Military. Coming in November.
Here’s the narrator— Red’s Uncle Sam. ☝🏻
I know a guy that's got a lot to lose.
He's a pretty nice fellow, kinda confused.
Got muscles in his head, ain't never been used.
Thinks he own half of this town.
Three championships in one try each at the Big Texan was enough for me. I want no part of knocking out two 72 oz’ers in a hour.
That’d require two bottles of ketchup and two pitchers of root beer. A hard no.
Tuberville, you’re holding the US Military hostage. You snuck out of the 50 Yard Line Steakhouse in Lubbock to avoid a firing at Texas Tech. A dead man’s family still needs answers from a traffic accident in a vehicle under your name.
NO WAY you want a national conversation.
My holds are not affecting national security, no matter what national pundits are saying.
@SecAFOfficial, @SECNAV, and @SecArmy would rather attack me in a newspaper than have an actual conversation.
Just another example of woke propaganda.
Love my kids and their hearts, but YOU’RE SITTING ON A $32 BILLION SURPLUS, @GovAbbott. Why are you making Texas kids beg for basic educational essentials??
I’m not concerned about Austin or DC. At all. I’m concerned about Article VII of the Texas Constitution for which revolutionary heroes died, and I trust in local neighbors to preserve sound education for children in our communities.
Austin and DC snobs have no say in this matter.
Okay. I’ll let you continue to believe what you want. It’s not the local people you should be concerned with. It’s the politics in Austin and DC that you should be concerned with.
Stop conflating national issues into Texas politics: school choice vouchers will NEVER work in Texas. We don’t have an income tax, schools are dependent on property taxes, you pay 66¢ per dollar on local schools now. Let them fail & see your taxes go up and your property decline.
Parents of home schoolers in Florida are able to use their vouchers for paddle boards, 55” TVs, kayaks, tickets to Disney World while pub schools don’t have enough money for needed school supplies. Excellent article below.

Vouchers will ruin rural Texas, then your food, fuel, and fiber commodity prices will be dependent on foreign foes. That your property values diminishing a constitutional amendment should be reason enough to stop this political insanity.
