Hey @VaDOTNOVA the intersection of Arlington Blvd and Washington Blvd is oddly designed and there are often accidents here. I saw a concept to dramatically change the design and add traffic lights. Any news on the progress of this plan? Thanks!

@DDOTDC @VaDOTNOVA @VaDOT @STATter911 PLEASE consider an adjustment to the traffic pattern at the Roosevelt bridge during construction. In the area of the GWMP on-ramp 66 goes from 2 to 3 lanes, but that creates a SERIOUS choke point where 50 meets TRMB at the yield signā¦1/2

@STATter911 Thanks @VaDOTNOVA for the 8B sign work. Next focus is the exit to Columbia Pike from 27. Drivers coming from 395 cross 3 lanes to take 1st exit, when 2nd exit is for them. Also drivers on 27 often zoom in exit lane & cut off others. Need plastic bollards 2 prevent.

@VaDOTNOVA PS this EXIT sign at this location was mowed down yet again a couple of days ago. I think itās the most knocked down sign in Arlington. (But I spy some plastic bollards!)

@VaDOTNOVA @STATter911 This sign is above the wrong lane at exit 8B, 395-S. Because of that drivers abruptly either stop or slow trying to get into the right lane to exit towards 66W/110. Please move the sign, add āEXIT ONLYā designation and a new smaller sign too.

@ArlingtonDES On Thursday May 2 an @AmDisposal organics truck stopped for a while next to my driveway as they do every week. Their truck leaked oil or hydraulic fluid all over the road surface and into the gutter & curb. Who will clean this? Intersection of N 2nd St & Fillmore

Hey @VaDOTNOVA Is there any chance you could forward this to the right people to take care of it? Along the Fairfax Dr. on-ramp to I-66 West there are appx 17 dead VDOT trees all in a row. Itās been this way for years but they need removing (and replanting hopefully). PM me.

Hello @Reagan_Airport Following up on my post from yesterday about the addition of a stop sign for inbound traffic near the exit for the employee lot. I noticed today a VDOT regulation sized STOP LINE has been painted in the roadway. (1/3)

But as it currently is it doesnāt comply with the legal standard for stop line markings. Though itās correctly sizedā¦itās not accompanied by an actual stop sign. Itās confusing for drivers to see a stop line (the white, rectangular box) in the roadway, but no stop sign. (2/3)

@Reagan_Airport good morning. If the rideshare staging area is permanent, could you please consider some signage changes to the roadway by the employee lot entrance/exit? A STOP sign for inbound traffic would be very helpful. Inbound rideshare often block that intersection.
