Thereโ€™s some quirk in physics where, if thereโ€™s a small hole in a bag of mulch it will leak all over your vehicle. But if you rip a giant hole in the bag and try to dump it out into your landscaping, almost none will fall out.

Wow! Just noticed this on the back of a 1992 baseball card. A Twins scout missed on Roger Clemens! I had not heard this story before. Maybe @Patrick_Reusse @jzulgad or @LaVelleNeal know more? @TwinsAlmanac

Remember that $10B lawsuit Trump filed against the IRS over his tax returns leaking? Heโ€™s 'dropping' it in exchange for a taxpayer-funded slush fund so he can pay off his political allies and friends. You're being robbed.

I feel this in my bones. Positive Phil is done.
It is honestly impressively pathetic how soft and fragile every menโ€™s Minnesota sports team has been for 35 yearsโ€ฆ The losing, underachieving and choking are generational. Baked into DNA. Who wants to rise up and break the pattern? Nobody so far.

This should be on the front page of every newspaper in America. A Syrian billionaire needed U.S. sanctions lifted so he could cash in on $12 billion in reconstruction contracts. In an attempt to influence American foreign policy, he proposed a Trump-branded golf course, cut Jared Kushner & Ivanka Trump into a multibillion-dollar real estate deal for a resort in Albania, and had someone physically deliver a stone engraved with the Trump family crest to a Republican Member of Congress with instructions to take it to the White House to get the President's attention. Trump threw his weight behind repealing the sanctions. They were lifted. The contracts are moving, the Trump familyโ€™s deals are expanding, and not a single Washington Republican is willing to say a word about any of it. This is a corruption of everything the office of the presidency is supposed to stand for, and the American people deserve to know about it. nytimes.com/2026/04/19/us/poโ€ฆ

โ€œIf verified, this would represent the largest alleged self-dealing scheme by a president in the history of the United States.โ€
A new watchdog report from the Government Accountability Oversight Project alleges that President Donald Trump directed $3 billion in federal funds toward his own properties and political allies. The report claims this was achieved through a series of classified security agreements and no-bid contracts authorized during his final year in office. Investigators suggest that emergency national security designations allowed these properties to receive federal payments at rates significantly higher than market value. The most substantial allegation involves a $1.2 billion security agreement at Mar-a-Lago, an amount that reportedly exceeds the security budget of any private residence in U.S. history. While the Trump legal team has dismissed these findings as a partisan attack, federal investigators are currently reviewing the data. If verified, this would represent the largest alleged self-dealing scheme by a president in the history of the United States. Critics have noted that the funds in question were drawn from the national treasury, which traditionally supports essential services such as veterans' hospitals and disaster relief. While no formal charges have been filed, the scale of the alleged diverted funds has sparked intense debate over executive accountability. The Government Accountability Office has yet to issue a formal comment on the specific findings of the report.

BREAKING: Just 20 minutes before Trump's announcement that the Strait of Hormuz was open, massive trades hit the market. Investors sold a combined 7,990 lots of Brent crude futures, โ€‹a $760 million bet that oil would go down. These orders were much larger than anything else at the time. The traders made huge gains. Unusual.

The PBS NewsHour has documented the Trump family's unprecedented conflicts of interest. Jared Kushner, a 'volunteer' with no official position, has $6 billion in assets from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar-the same governments he is negotiating with on Middle East peace. Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have invested in drone companies that are now competing for Pentagon contracts in the war their father started. Forbes estimated that Eric and Don Jr., they were worth about $40, $50 million each before the 2024 election. About a year later, Eric at $400 million and Donald Trump Jr. at about $300 million. They're using war and diplomacy to enrich themselves

As a Christian who also worships at an evangelical church, this is just sad to read. Frankly, unbelievable.
I had received some questions about President @realDonaldTrump's recent posts, and here are my thoughts: I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christโ€”that would certainly be inappropriate. Iโ€™m thankful the President has made it very clear that this was not at all what he thought the AI-generated image was representingโ€”he thought it was a doctor helping someone, and when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post. When I looked at the illustration, I didnโ€™t jump to the same conclusion as some. There were no spiritual referencesโ€”no halo, there were no crosses, no angels. It was a flag, soldiers, a nurse, fighter planes, eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and I think this is a lot to do about nothing. There is so much ill-intended speculation. I think his enemies are always foaming at the mouth at any possible opportunity to make him look bad. And the illustration from someone else he reposted on Truth Social yesterday, I must say that I like the fact that this is a picture of Jesus whispering in his ear, or at least His hand on his shoulder, guiding him. We all need thatโ€”we all need to be listening to Jesus. Again, I think there is an attempt to spin this into something that it isnโ€™t. Remember, President Trump didnโ€™t draw this, he didnโ€™t create it, he reposted it on his social media because he thought it was niceโ€”I would have to agree. Iโ€™m not a Catholic, Iโ€™m an evangelical, but I appreciate how President Trump has defended religious freedom for people of all faiths, including millions of evangelicals and Catholics in the U.S. and around the world. He is the most pro-Christian, pro-life president in my lifetime, and he doesnโ€™t shy away from it. I would hope that the President and Pope Leo can meet at some point, and that the Pope would have the opportunity to thank the President for his efforts to protect religious liberty for Catholics and people of all faiths.
