This morning as I was hustling to leave the house I walked to our deck to put some strawberry tops and fruit peels in the compost and there was a live possum in the bottom of the bin. I screamed so loud, I’m surprised no one in my neighborhood stopped over to check on me.

Idea: what if Black and Brown Minnesotans didn’t need to pay city taxes until the police in their city could go a full year without killing them? Since their taxes pay the salaries of these people who are supposed to protect them?

The hysteria of white Minnesota around small scale looting in Brooklyn Center tonight is something else. Local MSP TV news stations milking those images to inflame and fuel fear, anger, prejudice and racism should be ashamed of themselves.
