A man with his feet planted firmly in the future. Why send emails when your agents can do it for you?

> What if a nuclear [ICBM] were hurtling towards the US with only 90 seconds to spare, and Anthropic’s AI were the only way to trigger a missile response to save the country, but the company’s safeguards wouldn’t allow it Is... that really how they plan to set this up?

So all the Seedance videos I've seen are terrible, but... If you gave it to a director/vfx artist who actually knew how to compose a scene, could they produce something good?

When you go to a restaurant you are assigned a fully autonomous, intelligent, and informed assistant that can take your order. But they still give you a menu.
I don't see this future many people predict. Imagine finding and ordering some sushi on Doordash, by talking to your computer? For many tasks, UIs are way more efficient than language.

Lots of bad/slop uses of AI all over the feed. But this does seem really cool. The fact that a non-engineer could train a model and build a web app to do it is pretty amazing no matter how you feel about all the slop.
I want to say something that's as sincere as anything I've ever said on here. Which is that if you don't find it fascinating that we can actually measure stable patterns of human communication, spanning literally thousands of years, then I find that to be really sad.

TBD how it looks in person but this matches my first reaction as well
Liquid Glass is looks super distracting. It sacrifices contrast for some "joy" and "expressiveness". #WWDC25

Seems like there are 2 paths forward: 1. Return to in-person blue-book essays, oral assessments, or other exams which cannot be gamed by ChatGPT 2. The bar for research papers and take home essays get much higher, requiring either novel analysis or a live defense
