Boltwall suite demo. I walk through: - how to spin up your own L402 development environment - customizing L402 tokens with custom caveats - generating and manipulating L402s client side - the full L402 payment and authorization flow - deploying your own paywall proxy service
A new iteration of boltwall, the TypeScript suite of L402 tools is now available! I had some free time recently and thought it would be fun to rewrite my 7-year-old tooling for LSATs using an entirely agentic workflow to modernize the codebase and bring it up to spec with the move to L402. Check out Boltwall playground live here: boltwall-suite-playground.ve… Full codebase here: github.com/bucko13/boltwall-… Read on to learn more about how it was built and how you can use it yourself.

Remember folks: just because something is local doesn’t mean it’s private.
This is INSANE. Google just dropped a free AI voice dictation app for iOS and Mac. Every premium feature works without any subscription. 100% free, runs fully local, powered by Gemma 4.

I built this rep for my wife. Trip planning is a huge pain in the butt, and it's difficult to set enough time on the calendar to coordinate with your spouse. This tool that lets us coordinate day by day schedules, nap times, meals, places to visit, and organized route finding.

At $39/month, this will be replicated as open source software. There is no moat.
Every AI tool just waits for you to type a prompt. For the last year we built the opposite: an assistant that already did the thing before you wake up. Here's what that looks like in a real family. Mine. 👇

we reduced our company's token spend by 70% a few weeks ago by "seeing" where are tokens were going we'll open source the tool we built -> " The Agent Mothership": - agents carry a license called a "macaroon" that sets it's ability to spend - the agent is licensed by a specific person - agents can never spend beyond the budget assigned by the human (organizations set the person's limits) - agents can never access data the human didn't permit - agents can spawn sub-agents, which are also tracked under the same license - you can require multiple agents to sign off on critical tasks using multi-sig (ex: your build, code review, and security agents all sign off on a PR) - each agent "signs" it's logs using the macaroon in a sequence that can't be altered @evanfeenstra gives a tour

Let me guess: "HODL bitcoin on our platform to earn yield while we rehypothecate your bitcoin and expose you to risk in excess of the return we would give you." Someone should open a @Polymarket for this.

Attached is a screenshot of an idea that had been percolating for the past 6 months or so. Today I see a youtube video and this guy has basically arrived at the exact same idea. This makes me so incredibly happy. youtu.be/3t0k7E7WiOQ

"A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for." I think about this quote often. Feels applicable in so many aspects of life.

"obviously handing over all your finances to ai has risks" you don't say?
have a long running personal finance thread in the codex app set up with a heartbeat automation. as part of it, I gave Codex access to all my banks, credit cards, tax statements & brokerages. also built an agent-first Schwab CLI so it can view my holdings and open up trades. just asked codex to open source it. woke up this morning and saw this notification on my phone — codex made some trades (: at this point, codex knows my financial picture better than I do, and I use this pinned thread as my primary interface for anything money related. obviously handing over all your finances to ai has risks, but personally i’m stoked about this. feels good having codex in my corner helping me stay on top of frivolous spending, taxes, and portfolio

If you prefer the written word, here's a post where I go into more detail on how mempool policy is like Bitcoin's Administrative State and we, as bitcoiners, have been undermining our own ability to harden the protocol medium.com/@BuckPerley/mempo…

Fascinating going back through old tweets where I was critical of $STX and finding that in many instances the original tweets are deleted. For reference, here are the "People in this conversation":

Gotta pump those $STX bags.

And yes, the market appears to have spoken. STX is down 90 % relative to BTC in the past 4 years.

A 20 min rowing session that barely gets above zone 3 is not a 12.9 strain, literally impossible. @WHOOP @willahmed fix this immediately.
Is there a way to turn off the new rowing strain algorithm @willahmed @WHOOP? It gives far too much credit for muscular load.

Dead on arrival because it requires using the objectively terrible Fitbit app.
JUST IN: Google just launched a screenless Fitbit band to go after Whoop. Fitbit Air is a $99 wearable built to track your health all day without apps, alerts, or a display. • tracks heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, skin temperature, and movement • no screen, notifications, or smartwatch features • up to 7 days of battery life • 5-minute charge gives roughly a full day of use • works with Google’s Gemini-powered Health Coach

“In a car you're always in a compartment, and because you're used to it you don't realize that through that car window everything you see is just more TV. You're a passive observer and it is all moving by you boringly in a frame. On a cycle the frame is gone. You're completely in contact with it all. You're in the scene, not just watching it anymore, and the sense of presence is overwhelming” - Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

Or you can use the data to better understand physiological trends but still maintain a positive mindset. Don’t let data get in the way of good vibes.
