Today, we’re introducing Skills in @GoogleChrome, a new way to build one-click workflows for your most frequently used AI prompts — like asking for ingredient substitutions to make a recipe vegan, generating side-by-side shopping comparisons across multiple tabs, or scanning long docs to get the info you need quickly. When you write a prompt that you want to use again, you can save it as a Skill directly from your chat history. The next time you need it, select your saved Skill in Gemini in Chrome by typing forward slash ( / ) or clicking the plus sign ( ) button, and your Skill will run on the page you’re viewing, along with any other tabs you select.

So Google has just released its own agent builder?! You can now add the agent block in Google Opal and "program it" in plain English. And it has natively: - Tool call (with Nano Banana, Veo, web search...) - Memory to save infos between sessions - Conditional logic Probably the easiest way to build AI agents I've seen so far.
Opal, our no-code visual builder for AI workflows, just got a major upgrade. 🧠💎 We’ve added a new agent step that analyzes your goal, determines the best approach, and automatically calls the right tools — such as Veo for video or web search for research — to complete the task. We’re also adding new tools to make the agent even more capable: 💾 Memory – Remember info, like a user’s name or your style preferences across sessions. 🚀 Dynamic Routing – Let the agent choose the next best step using the “@ Go to” tool. 💬 Interactive Chat – Initiate user interactions to gather missing information or present options before moving on. Try it now → opal.google

🚀 Introducing the Depth of Knowledge (DOK) Analyzer! What if you could instantly know whether your assessment truly measures thinking… or just recall? We’ve all written questions that felt rigorous — longer passages, bigger numbers, more parts — but hard doesn’t always mean deep. That’s where the DOK Analyzer comes in. This new tool evaluates your assessments using Webb’s Depth of Knowledge framework (Levels 1–4) and gives you clear, practical feedback you can use immediately. Here’s what it does: ✔ Classifies each item by DOK level ✔ Flags “false rigor” ✔ Checks alignment to standards ✔ Suggests upgraded versions of lower-level questions ✔ Helps you intentionally balance cognitive demand ✔ Builds reasoning rubrics for DOK 3–4 tasks No more guessing. No more labeling after the fact. No more mistaking difficulty for depth. Whether you're designing a quick quiz, a common assessment, or a major performance task, the DOK Analyzer helps ensure your students are being asked to analyze, justify, apply, and transfer — not just recall. Imagine your PLC conversations shifting from: “Is this hard enough?” to “Does this truly require strategic thinking?” That’s the shift. Depth drives learning. Rigor drives growth. Now you have a tool that makes both visible. Ready to test your next assessment? docs.google.com/presentation…
