Between NYC in wildfire smoke and this in PR, it bears repeating how unprepared we are for the climate crisis.

It is possible to be in awe of the benefits of abundant fossil fuels, while also advocating for a radical shift away from them.
Most people working in clean energy see it this way. They don't "hate" fossil fuels for the sake of it. We have better ways of running society.
