Sample size calculation in RCTs is a hoax. Trialists consider feasibility & $$$ they are likely to get from funders & make up the numbers for their calculation accordingly. There is a better way that we continue to ignore. Instead we collude in the hoax. journals.plos.org/plosmedici…
