The endgame toolchain just dropped. A fully cross compiling LLVM toolchain, no sysroot required. It just works. Fully from source (yes, even libc ).
We are switching to it at @zml_ai.

The most awesome part about #bazelcon is meeting all the builders and enablers who have improved the workflows of hundreds to thousands of other engineers. They are productive and inspiring. I learned a lot by talking to folks from Uber, Canva, Stripe, LinkedIn... Amazing crowd!!

Somehow I totally missed that SICP got a new edition last year that's using JavaScript instead of Scheme amazon.com/Structure-Interprā¦ Kind of makes sense, given the times, but it certainly makes me a bit sad as fewer people will be exposed to the magic of Lisp going forward.

I must say I am impressed how well bazel works - I can even do
bazel run //whatever:my_ios_app
and the whole thing pops in an iOS Simulator š¤Æ
maaaaaaaybe Dart/Flutter really should make bazel their default build system instead of the zoo currently in use
