Ohio Republican lawmakers abandoned a vote on legislation that would have reduced sales tax breaks for data centers, leaving intact a credit that cost the state $2 billion in lost state and local sales tax revenue in 2025 alone. Read more: s.tiffinohio.net/uUQrD34

Hegseth: The document says Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, won't seek one, won't buy one, won't have one. Reporter: Obama’s deal said that too. Hegseth: But they didn't have the threat of military force the way that we do that Iran respects in a very.... way that their regime is more devastated, more devastating, mayb-- excuse me, more devastated than it's ever been

Trump is cheering on a bad deal to end a war he should have NEVER started. American servicemembers killed and injured. Thousands of civilians killed. Billions of taxpayer dollars lit on fire. All for a worse deal than what Obama negotiated without dropping a single bomb.

Doug Burgum is now saying the quiet part out loud, doubling down on his plan to sell off millions of acres of our public lands. We need the Public Lands Integrity Act to protect against Burgum and Steve Pearce’s fire sale of America’s great outdoors. bit.ly/4vJ61mX

Agree, but don't expect change. Wasn't long ago when smart women were burned at the stake, drowned, beheaded, shot.
The smarter women are, the more hostility they face. In the U.S. & China, the higher women’s IQs, the less they're liked—and the more they’re undermined by coworkers. Men pay no price for being bright. It's long past time to recognize female intellect as an asset, not a threat.

Tragic!
When Notre-Dame burned in 2019, the world stopped. Today, Russia damages Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, a monastery nearly 1,000 years old and older than Notre-Dame itself. A thousand years of history deserves the same attention, the same sympathy, and the same protection.

Is this what @RepMarkAlford means by having your back, farmers? The relief, needed because Trump imposed tariffs, is not happening because of Trump’s war in Iran.

We have to stay on top of this screwworm outbreak. Further spread has the potential to cause serious economic harm for our dairy and cattle farmers. I'm urging @USDA to take immediate action.

Yes. I was a young journalist in a small city in northern Indiana. Covered lots of local 1976 festivals and events. Public generally optimistic. But 6 months later, voters ousted GOP Pres George Ford and elected Democrat Jimmy Carter, who exuded joy. But change didn't last long.
Do you have any personal memory of our American Bicentennial in 1976 and how it made you feel?

It’s gotten so ridiculous that coal plants and chemical factories simply had to send the EPA an email to get exempt from pollution rules. As pollution causes more cancer, more asthma attacks, and more flooded communities, the EPA is abandoning their mission—and us. 📸 Photo courtesy of @SouthWings.
