The choice of
#Karura, an iconic urban forest, as the venue, emphasized the importance of preserving natural spaces for urban dwellers.
Discussions between both governments are focusing on collaborative efforts in Forestry, climate actions, youth sports programs, and sustainable development. Finland has been a long-time partner of Kenya Forest Service through the Miti Mingi Maisha Bora Project that ushered Kenya’s forest sector reforms. Finland is a leader in the forestry sector, boosting a forest cover of over 70 percent.
