Having seen first hand the destructive forces caused by a mega Christian org abusive retributions for exposing their wicked treatment of truth tellers is exactly what @wademullen is stating so accurately. They turn viciously on those abused and the whistleblower. Then require NDA
One of the most painful experiences of speaking truth to abusive power is watching the discussion slowly shift away from the harm itself and toward your motives, tone, credibility, and loyalty.
