i have seen enough proof now that using a coding agent is a deep skill
it's confusing because the people you see heavily using them produce horrible results
but that's because it's a skill! you can get better and the ceiling seems pretty high - this is very exciting to me

If you're not using voice transcription as the primary way to chat to coding agents, you really should. I wildly underestimated how much more productive (and enjoyable) it would be compared to typing.

This has been said a thousand times before, but allow me to add my own voice: the era of humans writing code is over. Disturbing for those of us who identify as SWEs, but no less true. That's not to say SWEs don't have work to do, but writing syntax directly is not it.

once you're senior enough, coding isn't the bottleneck -- throughput is. if you're not finding ways to multiply your output, you're choosing stagnation.
