Took this $30 budget Diana abomination to a skirmish. Went 2-2 with it. Lost to Lux and proceeded to fight 3 Irelias back to back. I was able to beat 2 Irelia but 3 is too much with this deck. Kaisa and Downwell MVP. Diana is not supposed to be played aggressive. 3/10 Cook

If you want to play Diana, you’re on a budget and want something spicy I recommend trying this list. I took it to a skirmish and went 2-2. Lost to Lux control and proceed to fight 3 irelias back to back. Won two and lost the last one. Any expensive card can be replaced by fizz, hwei, etc. I think having more downwell is correct since you can get to 6 pretty quickly and sprite burst to win. You’ll absolutely blow the mental of the opposing player since no vex, no moonfall. Meta decks, bad players = winnable Meta decks, good players = almost impossible I definitely should have stayed on Victor and refined the list but I lent some cards to a friend for the same skirmish so 🤷‍♂️ 3/10 deck

I don’t know how I’m supposed to feel about the skirmish I just did. My friends and I went to @ubecardhobby to play Riftbound. The website wasn’t updated so the promo listed wasn’t the Rengar but it did say it’s Swiss 5. This will matter. The TO announced at the beginning that it was indeed the Rengar promos and that the website wasn’t updated yet. That’s fine. The issue is that it wasn’t a Swiss 5 but a Swiss 4. We had 20ish people so we all assumed it was 5 Swiss and a lot of people made their strategies based on that. Anyone who went 0-2 early on played it out assuming that if they went 3-2 they’d be able to have a chance to bubble in. There was someone who went 2 wins and 2 draw because that guarantees them top 8. At the end of Swiss 4 we were told we were going into a top cut of 8. I spoke to the employee about it since it felt like there wasn’t any communication to the players but apparently they told some players that it was a Swiss 4 during round 2 but not to everyone. My friend went x-2 and ended up going 2-2 just to find out it didn’t matter and that it was a waste of 3 extra hours for him for no reason. Even though UVS says online that it’s a Swiss 5, the TCG store is the TO and I’m not against them making it a Swiss 4 to top cut. The employee came to me and offered compensation for the players who waited and were inconvenienced by it and took the feedback well. It sounds like upper management had some shifts and as a result the employees are dealing with the new changes. One of the new changes was they shortened the store hour by 1 hour which is interesting to say. At the end of the day I just want to play the game I enjoy in the ways it’s intended to be played. They did allow us to pick an origins promo card for our troubles so that was nice. All in all. I got to try my home brew. Went 2-2 but I fought 3 irelias and lost to Lux and irelia I was on Diana but I was playing the sprite package and no moonfall, no vex 1 hwei. I have no clue how I even beat 2 irelias but oh man please I wanted to fight different decks. Rip
