From our latest issue of the Journal of Biblical Counseling. Learn more and explore purchase and subscription options at ccef.org/jbc. In this article, Todd Stryd offers a decision-making framework grounded in the fear of the Lord to help with this common struggle of saying no. He walks through a sample counseling conversation to show what working through it looks like in practice. "The wisdom of Romans 14 lies not in prescribing specific outcomes but in cultivating discernment. Paul does not set saying no and saying yes in opposition; instead, he teaches that both flow from the obedient act of fearing God." #ccef #biblicalcounseling #christiancounseling #journalofbiblicalcounseling #jbc

Last week was a joy to be together with all of our @ccef team for a week of strategic planning and celebration of our MAC graduates from @WestminsterTS
Jun 5
Last week, the entire CCEF staff gathered to begin a season of strategic planning. It was refreshing to be together in person, to spend time praying, and to assess our current reality as we look ahead to the many ministry opportunities before us. We're grateful for the Lord's guidance and excited to see where he leads in the coming months! Would you join us in praying for this next season of ministry?

#Cavs fans need to remember the Pistons were down 22 at halftime of Game 6 in Orlando but found a way to win that road game and the series after being down 3 games to 1. This thing ain’t close to being over.

As we look ahead to the opportunities before us, we’re dependent on the Lord for the wisdom to prioritize how best to serve his church, as well as the provision to make possible those endeavors. We’re asking the Lord to provide another $255,000 by the end of our fiscal year on May 31. Would you give a gift today to support this work of bringing Scripture into the lives of suffering and struggling people? Listen to a personal invitation from Jonathan Holmes, our Executive Director. “Together, we get to watch the Lord bring growth in his timing, in ways we could never manufacture on our own.” By giving a gift to CCEF today, you’re planting seeds that will blossom into something beautiful in the years to come. Give to CCEF today at ccef.org/donate.
