Today was a hard day for the medal. You’d think after the number of marathons I’ve done I’d remember you need to train properly for them or your legs don’t work !!!

The only positive of Reforms popularity at the moment is they have 2 years to show just how incompetent they are before the next GE and everyone who’s been swayed to protest vote against the government turns against them
Before Nigel Farage and Reform UK tell you he is now Prime Minister, note there are 650 MPs in Parliament and 20,000 councillors in the UK.
Today’s results will likely end with Reform UK having 2500-3000/20,000 councillors and still just 8/650 MPs.
GBNews, the Express, Spectator and Mail will tell you he’s about to be handed the keys to No.10. But it’s local elections, they will all be disappointed.

A piece my daughter wrote for her college newspaper. It’s mainly aimed at teenagers but I think Adults could and should all listen to the younger generation a bit more, they seem to know what they are talking about(but don’t tell her I said that !!!)

Brontë enjoyed her 1st proper walk in the countryside enjoyed the wood and sticks…..met some horses and a couple of other dogs (both of which she was less keen on). Got very wet and muddy so no trip to the pub and now she’s had a bath and relaxing with her doughnut
