Canada's Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, in support of the Liberal's new capital gains tax, goes on incredibly inappropriate classist rant and ends with a threat: "...do you want to live in a country where these at the very top live lives of luxury but must do so in gated communities, behind ever higher fences using private healthcare and airplanes. Because the public sphere is so degraded and the wrath of the vast majority of their less privileged compatriots burns so hot." What she is saying is if our doctors and entrepreneurs don't give her more of their money to mismanage they won't be able to go anywhere in public and face the risk of violence. It's her government the one that degraded the public sphere. This tax will generate less than what the increase in our public debt servicing charges have been because of her fiscally reckless government. We have billions missing and mismanaged in various endeavors likes the green fund, infrastructure fund and they don't seem to care for all the squandered dollars on various project like the ArriveCan. She doesn't want to fix any of the fiscal mismanagement in her government to make sure taxpayers dollars are going to the services they are paying for, she just wants more money and threatens violence "if not".
