LAPD officer Houston Tipping died after a training exercise during which he was beaten & slammed to the ground by other cops. Now his lawyer says at the time he died he was investigating a gang rape by 4 cops, at least one of whom was part of the exercise.

βYou are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under peopleβs feet.
There can be well-intentioned people in naturally damaging systems but it is not enough to halt the need for the destruction of those institutions & the need for something new.
If a system is built & flourishes on immortality & preying on others, it's not competition, it's evil.

One thing that led to my #deconstruction & #reconstruction was constantly hearing about how, "give to the poor, set the captives free and to correct injustices" didn't mean, "LiKe ThaaaaAaAT"... Like ALWAYS clarifying that Acts 2 was ONLY about personal charity.
Add to the list of things I will NEVER say to our child.

For all Christians who, in good-faith, argue about gov'ts having poor relief programs saying, "Not like that!!! Get the GoV'T out of it! The ChURcH should do it!"... that's WHY secular ppl are looking to governments. You're right, BUT...The Church, as a whole has #droppedtheball

Christian nationalists say that America needs men who believe in the nuclear family, disdain pornography, and protect women.
Then they turn around and support a president who destroyed his family, posed on the cover of playboy and bragged about assaulting women.
