Meganium hate is tied to the fact pokemon was a game played primarily by little boys. Little boys think spiky Gators and fire-bears are cooler than flower cucumber. This is because they are correct.
"I don't think Meganium hate is tied to misogyny like people think. It's just the fact that it's easily the weakest starter in Johto and the grass type has horrible matchups there. If it was in any other region, I think it'd be liked more."

This card is busted, but only because I believe in the heart of the cards.
This card is a “fuck power creep, we ride at dawn” design decision from WotC

BUZZ!
One thing I’ve noticed is everyone’s top 5 bug-types always seem to include most of the following; Scizor, Heracross, Scollipede, Volcarona and Golisopod. Anyone got any faves other than these? Or does this theory check out?

Is this just what warfare looked like for 200,000 years of human history? It’s goofy as fuck. No wonder Sargon of Akkad ended up murdering everyone when he unlocked the revolutionary technology of Getting Guys To Stand In A Line

Modern starters are like furry OCs, not a species of creature. "My OC is a gorilla that plays wooden drums! Well my OC shoots people with water like a sniper, well my oc plays soccer with a fireball!" Vs "What if there were giant turtles with water cannons roaming around"
The moment it clicked why modern starters feel so wrong made me feel so smart. It’s because it’s practically impossible to picture them in the wild. Like I can’t imagine Cinderace in a desert or open field not looking out of place

"Good always wins"
Had a friend during the 90’s who ONLY had a “white deck” and I swear he won every single time then would say “well Good always wins” or something it was infuriating

Played draft for the first time. Went undefeated, not too hard. Only ever played edh and dandan before. Standout cards:

pretty wild how i could animate fairly realistic armored combat with homemade action figures and hollywood still can’t figure it out with an infinite budget

I finally made it to WAFFLE HOUSE. The staff are always friendly, and when I asked if they would sell me a menu, they sold me one for $5. Next time, I’ll be back at 3 a.m. for fight time. #WAFFLEHOUSE

Man doing everything he could to let Him free, but submitting to a mob vs. People so rabid to have Jesus killed they would rather a known murderer go free. Hmm I wonder?
Why is it that Pontius Pilate is not more of a villain in Christian history? When reading the New Testament for the first time, I was shocked to see that Pilate is depicted more as doing his Roman duty and not as a satanic force
